Welcome to Carolina Select Soccer Club's home on
the web.
Carolina Select Soccer Club is a non-profit
organization that serves the Upstate of South
Carolina, including York, Lancaster and Chester
counties. The mission of the Carolina Select
Soccer Club is to promote an appreciation for
the sport by providing progressively higher
levels of competition within a safe, supportive
and fun teaching environment. We instill a sense
of enthusiasm, self-confidence and teamwork by
building upon the game's basic fundamentals. We
develop our players as "students of the game",
reinforcing more advanced technical skills,
tactical awareness, physical conditioning and
team play lead by a highly qualified coaching
staff. We endeavor to create outstanding players
and student-athletes who will excel in high
school and higher-level soccer programs.

Alliance Across the Carolinas!
Carolina Select SC (SC)
and Charlotte United FC (NC) have entered into an alliance to provide the best of both worlds! Players with a residence in North Carolina will be eligible to play in South Carolina and players in South Carolina will now be able to play in North Carolina!
What does this mean?

Players on teams that are deemed strong enough to be in the top three in South Carolina will play at Carolina Select. Otherwise they will play at Charlotte United. |

Tryouts
As
mentioned by Stephen Nall in his note to the
club,
ALL of our previously
scheduled tryouts have been rescheduled for the
week of May 19th.
We
apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
If you have already registered online with
Carolina Select, you will not need to
re-register for tryouts.
Note:
Tryout fees are $20 if you register online, $40
for all walkup registrations. You do not
have to pay online however, just choose the "Pay
by Check" option, and you can bring cash or
checks to the tryout. Tryout fees cover
the cost of t-shirts, field usage, coaches fees
and administrative costs.

improving the level of play and the experience
of the Carolina Select youth playing Challenge
Soccer. The quality of Coaching is extremely
important to us as well as other aspects of the
team organization. In order to make improvements

Online Store Update
We've started adding products
to the online store. You can now order
soccer bags (with or without the name
embroidered), car magnets as well as hats,
visors, sweatshirts, and spare uniform pieces.
Orders will be gathered and placed in bulk where
possible and delivered to team managers for
distribution at practices. Special thanks
to Lynda Willoughby for running our store
operations!
