Support Lori Finnerty in the 2008 Avon Walk for Breast Cancer

Lori will be walking 39.3 miles over two days to raise money for women & families impacted by Breast Cancer, her message is below:

Hi all, I want to THANK everyone who donated to my Avon Walk for Breast Cancer last year- without your support, I wouldn't have made it through such an incredible challenge! So, now  I'm back, asking for your help once again. This is such an important cause to me because breast cancer takes a life every 14 minutes- every 3 minutes another woman is diagnosed- and this year an estimated 40,000 women will die from the disease. For the next several months, I will be training and fundraising so that for one weekend in October, I will spend two days walking a marathon and a half, camping out at night with thousands of other women and men taking this journey with me. As part of the event, my teammates and I are required to each raise $1800. With the donations raised, the Avon Foundation will provide support and resources for women and men affected by this terrible disease. This will help so many people in our own community and throughout the country. PLEASE consider making a donation.
